


Sue Hawker began her career singing with local bands in the Bournemouth area, later moving to London in 1979, where she formed the successful band SKETCH with guitarist Rob Koral.
Over the years Sue Hawker has performed at all the major UK venues, including Ronnie Scott's, Pizza on the Park, The Barbican and Festival Hall. She's also a regular at a number of Jazz Festivals, including Brecon, Edinburgh and Glasgow. In 1999 Sue took her music to Australia, where she performed at numerous jazz venues, as well as making several TV and radio appearances (Good Morning Australia and The Denise Show). In the UK Sue has appeared on the BBC's 'Jazz Notes' and The Old Grey Whistle Test.
More recently, Sue has teamed up with talented jazz pianist Guy Gardner to create a unique, melodic style, showcased beautifully in her new album Favourite Sin.
